SportsBetting Poker Review
SportsBetting is an American company, which operates mainly on the market of US and Canada. It started from sports betting and in time turned into gambling company with casino and poker. Now SportsBetting turned into gambling company with casino and poker. SportsBetting Poker room is part of Chico network.
Chico network started operating back in 2012. I was created on the base of Action network, which, in turn, was shut down due to problems with cash outs and miscues n development. Chico, on the other hand, guarantees payouts within 24 hours and constantly renews offers of the network.
The most significant change in SportsBetting Poker happened in 2016 when they started ti use Connective Games software, which is known to the players of many rooms. In comparison with previous poker client, which was inherited by Chico from Action network, it is just great.
As SportsBetting Poker has a sportsbook, it provides with a stream of weak players to the poker.
At the moment, Chico network is in the middle of the second ten of rooms of the rooms and networks, several positions higher than it used to be when it started operating. Game currency here is US dollars.
Cash traffic in this room has several specialties, which aren’t standard for European players: 4-max and 10-max tables in Holdem and 9-max tables in Omaha. Maximal number of tables is seen in evenings at Atlantic coast of US. It is almost morning in Europe. The European prime time traffic in SportsBetting Poker is also good.
The lowest stakes have about 40 tables of 6-max Holdem – with half of them at NL10 and the other half in two of the lowest stakes limits. There are up to 15 tables of 10-max format at three stakes limits combined. Looking at higher stakes up to NL400 have 5 to 10 tables per limit. There are five stakes limits. The game slowly dies at 10-max tables, but NL100-200 have 4-max tables. In the beginning of February 2017 maximal cash tables stakes was increased to NL2K, there is no action at thses tables during European prime time.
Omaha (Hi and Hi-Lo) have 10 tables at PL10 and PL50 at 6-max and 9-max tables. There are about 5 tables at stakes of PLO100, PLO200, PLO300 combined sometimes. Sometimes there are tables at PLO800-1000.
NL10-25 have 4-6 tables of heads-up cash games. There is action at higher stakes, but there are couple of tables at stakes limits. These tables are anonymous.
There is more action in American prime time (up to 9-10 am MSK). Almost all 10-max tables are at the two of the lowest stakes limits. The occasions when there are more than 5 tables at NL10 are rare. NL10 has 25 6-max tables, more than in two lowest stakes combines. На NL25-50 – have 10-15 tables with some 40max tables in latter limit. NL100-200 has 5-10 tables. NL400 and higher don’t have any traffic growth, there are up to 5 tables at stakes combined.
PLO (Hi and Hi-Lo) 6-max and 10-max have 20 tables at stakes of PL10 to PL50. There are 10 tables at all the stakes up to PLO1K
There is not much growth of traffic at heads-up tables.
Chico network work at development of MTT. Currently most of the tournaments are the ones with buy-ins of $5 or less, most of them take part in uncomfortable time for Europeans. The biggest tournaments in weekends have guaranteed prize funds of $10k-$50k with buy-ins of $22 to $100. During workdays there are no more than $7.5k guaranteed in prize funds and buy-ins not higher than $19. Total number of participants is 200-300 people.
Talking of SNG< the main traffic here is in tournaments with buy-ins of $10 and less, each of them has 5-10 tables. In February 2017, maximal SNG buy-in was raised to $215 at all the stakes of $20 an higher there is only action in peak hours and mostly at the lowest of these high stakes – there are 10-15 tables at the lowest of them.
MTT and SnG players have their special weekly and monthly leaderboards.
Software and Trackers
Unfortunately, Holdem Manager and Poker Tracker don’t work in SportsBetting Poker directly. In order for HUD to be displayed, one has to use hands converter, it only works in cash games. The client is fairly simple, there are few filters, the theme is only one with an opportunity to change the colors., one is unable to set up bet sizing, notes aren’t seen too well. There are well-displayed decks and one is able to set hot keys, and waiting lists and one is able to see who’s sitting at the tables form the main lobby. Client is in blue colors.
SportsBetting Poker Rake Structure
Rake of 5.5$ in SportsBetting Poker is credited in cash games on weighted contributed system, caps aren’t too high: $1 for NL10, $2 for NL25-50, and $3 at higher stakes. It is two times less at HU tables. Jackpot tables have additional rake.
Tournaments of all kinds and formats, except for HU have rake of 10% (5% for HU SnG). MTT rake is cedited from rebuys/addons.
